Post Body

I spoke to many people in the last few months, and I asked the question to them: let's say you were in a relationship with someone, and they said this to you:

The things you're doing with your life don't matter, and ultimately, you're going to fail and you're going to crack

Every single person replied that that was an awful thing to say to someone you supposedly loved, and it made it all the more bitter to refuse to apologise for it when prompted.

I am no one's to "let go of". You don't have me, and you never did. Zen, Buddhism and Taoism all realise the same thing: when you try to grasp something, it slips through your fingers.

You don't have me, and you never did.

Next time something beautiful gracefully lands in your lap, don't try to cling to it or possess it.

Marvel at it, love it, don't take it for granted.
