We messaged the mods of r/ontarioswingers to try to reverse a ban that we had received a while ago. While we respect the right they have to refuse to reverse our ban, there is no need to lie and use profanity to make their point.
We never have posted anything on OnlyFans, we have never sold anything on Twitter. We have never collected any money from any of our videos on PornHub, that was never our reason for posting there. We’re here to share what we want others to see and do not expect anything in return. Part of the reason we removed the link to our Pornhub was because of this.
We don’t know who hurt this moderator, but they probably had an OnlyFans.
Over the past couple of years, I’ve noticed an increasing trend across various subreddits: moderators who appear to be on power trips. These moderators not only fail to follow their own subreddit rules but also enforce biased, arbitrary rules based on their personal feelings at the time. When users call them out for this behavior, they respond by banning them.
Is there an issue with excessive promotion of platforms like OnlyFans or ManyVids? Absolutely. However, this over-moderation is impacting legitimate individuals who are simply looking to connect with like-minded people. These overzealous actions stifle genuine community interaction and alienate users who are trying to follow the rules.
I’m not sure what the solution to this problem is, but moderators abusing their authority and acting out of personal grievances is definitely not the answer. A fair, transparent approach to moderation is desperately needed.
