I need help from my Reddit savvy followers...

I recently logged into my app and received a message that due to "technical irregularities" they made me change my password for safety. I did change the password, however it won't let me log into the app now. It WILL let me log into the web version (which I am on currently).
Is this considered a ban for me?
I'm shocked b/c Reddit, but also not surprised because I AM used to it being a content creator.
