we have been trying to switch over to cloth diapers. i hate how much trash disposable diapers are; just boxes upon boxes of diapers for months on end that will all end up in the landfill. for just this one baby!
baby uses cloth diapers throughout the day; at night they will all go in the wash, and a disposable goes on for overnight. i am thinking about how to better resolve the overnight dilemma.
i feel a lot better about using these cloth diapers. babys skin seems to be doing better minus the chemicals and irritants in disposable diapers. i have also honestly found enjoyment in the process of handwashing the cloth liners. it gives me a moment to slow down and pay attention to detail and the sensations i feel in the moment.
it feels good to know that i care for mother earth and i am doing my part to help lessen the damage on the planet which nurtures and homes us.
