I didn't really know what to expect when I took the plunge and joined GWA after a LOT of lurking, one year ago. I remember being scared of making a mistake, scared that nobody would want to read what I wrote...but that isn't what happened. Rather, it's been more fun than I could have imagined, from hearing my deep fantasies realised in audio form, to seeing a funny little joke idea become the most popular thing I ever wrote! And from that first "Hi, I'm a new writer." post, the reception has been consistently amazing, and I've met so many nice and charming people since I came here.

Hearing so many talented performers take on my words and bring them fully to life has been sublime and apart from that, it's been a wonderful experience to find that my words resonated with so many people, both performers and listeners. It means a lot to be able to put out both my writing skills and my romantic-sexual imagination out there and have it responded to so positively.

So thank you all. The ideas are still flowing (my one-liner pitch file has almost 50 entries), I'm not going anywhere any time soon, and I'll see you in another year.
