Back in the early 1980’s, I (M26) was working part time at Taco Bueno (a Tx and Ok Tex-Mex fast food). Not long after I I had started becoming friends with Kathy(F25). To me she was drop dead gorgeous compared to my then wife, who had let herself go to shit. She was also working part time.

Not long after that, we talked often and I somehow asked her to lunch. More Tex-Mex, but a restaurant. We had had a few of those memorable times, and then things changed. The lunches stopped including food, and we ended up at her (married) apartment. As she stood in front of me, with the backs of her legs rubbing against the edge of the bed, I saw a vision of amazement. That was the last time I saw Kathy. You can imagine my pain (from both sides) as time passed. Today, the only thing that remains are the wonderful memories that we shared that summer.
