I messed up big time and another writer has brought this to my notice.
Post Body

So, last year, when i was learning the ropes and trying to understand how to write scripts, i was reading about 6-7 scripts a day, trying to understand how 1 sided conversation could be created and such.

While reading so many scripts, i think i also jotted down a bunch of tags, kinks, position descriptors, along with 'lines' that sounded hot, thinking that I should try to come up with something similar. This was a big mistake on my part.

Later, when writing my 1st(?) FF4M script in Apr 2021, I probably was just either ignorant/stupid enough to not realise that I was using the same set of notes which had everything from script structure, title tags, kinks, etc and even some of the lines. I messed up and inevitably ended up copying these same set of lines(approx. 6-10) either almost directly or adapted them. There's absolutely no excuse for such mistake.

Recently, because of the fill that the script received, u/taurean_adift(whose Scripts these lines are from), has approached me and informed me about the mess up. Along with his script, he also shared a post that he had posted to highlight this issue, which you can find on his profile. I have apologised to him and he has generously asked me to just mention him as the inspiration for lines in the script.

I didn't feel right doing just that. I wanted to be transparent and honest about my mistake by posting this on my profile. Hopefully, this post will be a stark reminder for me to be extremely cautious while writing scripts in the future and ensure that i don't mess up like this ever again. As for what I'm going to do in future, I'm not really sure. All I know is that this post will always stay up on my profile to remind me where I went wrong.

I have shared this with Scriptguild mods and in case any other writers feel that there are such similarities in my scripts, please feel free to either approach me or Scriptguild mods to get this resolved.

I expected better from me.

Thank you for reading,

Nortrom.
