Today we released West Africa Leaks - a deep dive into nearly 30 million files from Paradise Papers, Panama Papers, Swiss Leaks and Offshore Leaks! We teamed up with 13 investigative reporters, and worked in countries we'd never had reporters before.
You can read the main story here to see what we found.
You can also check out our map that highlights all our partners content - many of which wouldn't be published online without the support of our partner, Cenozo.
For those wondering "Why West Africa?" Our African partnership coordinator explains all here.
We took a look at the use of tax treaties, and the impact they can have on developing nations like Senegal. As one MP told us: "A tax haven might be heaven for multinational companies to avoid taxes, but, for the country, itβs hell."
And we also looked at honorary consuls... and how they're being used by and based in West African nations.
A always, tell us what you think!
