Reddit recently changed chats💬 a few months ago and still working out the kinks. Try these options to see if it fixes /Works around your problem.

If we chatted before and get the message your unable to send message error. Try leaving the chat and message me again ;should be an option to leave the “group” or “chat”. The new changes to chat no longer give that option should just give “hide chat”. This option only works for those who I had a chat window before the new changes to chat.
