No, you were not being dramatic. You tell people that you don't want to talk about your stuff and then they coerce you and well, not everyone can take that kinda stuff and it gets overwhelming for them. You cannot put that on yourself. They brought it upon themselves and it's not your fault for putting yourself on display and if people find it scary.

You've been through a lot. A LOT and the fact that it is overwhelming for people does not give them the right to push you away when you were kind enough to warn you about what it came with.

You're to be given time to. If someone can text and engage with you a whole lot and see them lacking after a while, DO NOT take their "oh I'm sorry I forgot" and "oh I just had a busy week", nah. If they did, they'd tell you.

Learn that people lie, and their truest colours show up sooner than later. You be honest with them and tell them how emotional you are and that's the best you can do.

If you get emotionally attached to someone, RUN AWAY if they don't appreciate it. Run away before they start to show signs of them being disinterested. Do not take any of those to heart and tell yourself that you did your best.

Be kind to yourself. Nobody's doing that for you. NOBODY.

The people you talk to have found their own tribes, you're stuck in a place where you cannot find it. Don't let these people dig you a hole further down that's difficult for you to climb back from.

You're fucking great, and you've taught yourself to be fine by yourself and entertain your own fucking self through all these years, DO NOT be bothered by this minor setback.
