Beneath the layers time has sown, Of joys and fears, of love and scars, I sift through whispers, still unknown, To find the self among the stars.
A past that clings with ghostly hands, Memories like leaves on autumn's breath, Each choice a footprint in the sands, Leading closer to my depths.
In quiet moments, fleeting clear, I glimpse the truth in fleeting light, A fleeting self, both far and near, Emerging slowly from the night.
Yet still I wander, paths unbound, In quest of essence, pure and true, Each step a note, a soulful sound, In this endless search for who.
