To say we rushed our relationship is an understatement. We met and dated within one year and got married the next. Our friends and families were rather skeptical but we didn't care. Our bond was strong and we were about to make it stronger.

With advancements in technology, a new service was provided to the public. The concept was simple and straight forward but complex at the same time. Merge yourself with another person and live the rest of your life sharing a body. You'd even get to choose what that body looked like after playing around with your combined features.

Of course there were protests and studies done about how this was an unhealthy social arrangement but that didn't stop many people from going through with it. Everyone from couples, friends to even enemies and rivals jumped on the trend despite it's permanent condition. We were no exception.

Those first few months were amazing. We learned and experienced intimacy like no other. To merely exist as one body housing two minds was an adventure in itself. Not to mention the cost of living went down dramatically as feeding one body was cheaper then two. But of course, just like with many others, the magic went away and we were left to deal with it.

The magic of marriage and merging were gone. The love remained but we simply just didn't do anything. We need something new to spice things up.
