It is true, about the cotton. Cotton loves water, and wet means cold. The best fabric for keeping warm is wool. Or maybe some synthetic fancy thing, idk, I've never tried those. Maybe whatever triple fucked petroleum blend thing with a branded name that includes an x is warmer. But wool works. Animal products keep you warm, plant products keep you cool, is what I've always heard. You can get hypothermic in sixty degree weather. Nature isn't trying to kill you, it just doesn't really care one way or the other.
