Why do I ask for a bio?
Post Body

When I get new messages, I always ask someone if they have a bio. Posted on Reddit, on Fetlife, or even just sent as a message - whatever. I just need some way to know the basics about the person messaging me!

I tend to get a lot of responses, and it's really impossible to take the time asking the very basic stuff from every single person. It makes life easier for everyone when the teenager in Russia looking for a no-limits slave makes that clear from the beginning, ya know?

In my opinion, if you're out here honestly looking for a connection, you really should have something written. And if you haven't already, it shouldn't be that much of a barrier to write one now. Use my long "about me" post as a template if you'd like, read some other personals ads, and put some consideration into what you think is most important. We should be aligned in wanting to know compatibility, priorities, and deal-breakers from the very beginning.

As such, I'm very unlikely to engage much with someone who doesn't have and is unwilling to write a bio. "Ask whatever you'd like" doesn't help me, and it's probably not helping you either.
