Applying for anesthesiology this cycle and I've received letters of recommendation from both the department chair in anesthesiology and the chair in family medicine, whom I worked with during clerkships. Unfortunately, ERAS submission is just around the corner, and I’m struggling to secure a solid third letter. A PhD I worked with is willing to write one, but I’m unsure if it will strengthen my application. I’ve reached out to four other attendings but haven’t heard back.
Any advice on how to handle getting more LORs at this point?
