So my son saw me analyzing some mutations on a poxwalker and goes “Dad, what is this” in the most 4YO way possible. So parent mode kicked in and I said :
That’s a poxwalker, they didn’t wash their hands after they went potty, got sick, and a monster made them crazy bad guys.
A semi-loreful, kid-friendly explanation that seems to have resulted in a whole two days without him having to be reminded to wash his hands.👌🏿👌🏿
