I’m not a republican. I’m not a democrat. I’m an American who cares about people’s basic human rights in this country. If you only see republican or democrat, you’re part of the problem. The reality of the world is that you have a mix of views of both “parties” and you can’t just funnel everyone in the country into two “parties.” Fuck the whole party system and this electoral voting system. It all needs to be reworked. What’s the point in counting the popular vote if it never counts?

If you don’t care about basic human rights and public health, then what are we doing? Honestly? What’s so terrible about another person having the same basic rights as you? Is your ego really that fragile or something? Like what the fuck? Or the fact that people are really upset with trans people and the LGBTQ community is also baffling. Like, it doesn’t affect you? Why do you care so much?

Tax the mega corporations, eat the rich, provide healthcare for everyone, and for fucks sake, treat every human being as you want to be treated. The fact that kindness, being nice, and giving everyone respect is labeled as a weakness in this country is honestly just so disappointing and sad.
