So, I’m a little annoyed.

I just got back from a 3 day account ban. What for? I have absolutely no clue. Reddit gave me an extremely vague rule and the violating comment was a chat message I sent last month, but they’re not telling me what exactly I said. Naturally I tried to appeal the ban but naturally I just got told “fuck you, you broke some arbitrary rule, here’s your ban”.

Which is kind of funny if you ask me, because I’ve had men on here tell me to shoot myself with a 12 gauge and they’ve never received bans, so, you know, I guess we pick and choose what’s offensive around here.

I looked through all of my chats on the day of violation and I can’t think of a single thing I said that would’ve resulted in a ban, so I’m going to attest it to the fact that some guy on here got pissed off me and decided to just mass flag everything in the DM until eventually it led to a ban. Without being told what message it was, I have no idea if the site admins took it out of context or they just simply didn’t care and found it easier to strike my account.

Prior to the ban I was actually going to make a post like this anyways, but the ban has really cemented it — I’m going to be changing how I’m going to be picking who I chat with. I don’t quite know how that looks yet since I still struggle with guys who can’t read past the title on my post, but I’ll figure it out.

In the past month or so I have had way, way too many men come at me with complete nuclear meltdowns. I don’t know how else to word it to you guys but I’m not your therapist, I’m not your mother, and I’m certainly not an outlet for your male fragility induced rage. If you can’t be a grown up, you shouldn’t be messaging me, or anyone on Reddit for that matter.

Seriously, I’m over being told to kill myself or being called a psychotic bitch just because I won’t cater to your every demand. And I’m seriously willing to bet it was one of these angry guys who mass flagged me until I got a temporary ban, which just makes it more infuriating because it’s only a matter of time until my account gets permanently banned for something like this.

It’s not that any of this hurts my feelings it’s just annoying. I come on here for fun, not to sit here and listen to some guy unload on me because he expects all his chat partners to be like the pornstars he watches and he found out that I’m not some submissive slut who’s going to debase herself for male attention.

And lately it seems like 90% of the guys who message me don’t care about making this a fun experience for me. They just attempt to force me to do what they want and when I won’t do it they lose their shit.

So, I can promise you, from now on, I’m no longer entertaining the nasties, not if it’s going to get my account suspended. If you start crying like a baby in my dm’s, I’m deleting all my messages and ignoring you rather than trying to reason with you. If I can tell right away in your opener that you’re not even slightly interested in what I want out of our exchange, I’m no longer gonna respond and remind you that my pleasure is also important, I’m just straight up ignoring the invite and moving on. If I can tell the conversation is heading south and you’re just gonna be extremely selfish, I’m not going to do you the courtesy of trying to get you back on track, I’m just gonna jump ship and go to someone else.

Unfortunately, the people who need to read this won’t. I appreciate all of you who are probably gonna read this and say “I’m sorry that this is happening to you”, I really do, but there also needs to be a large scale change in how we approach sexting.
