Sup!
So, in case you haven't noticed I haven't been on here much in the last month. My living situation changed in a dramatic way so I've been basically working overtime for the last 6 weeks or so and really haven't had the time to make things (which is very frustrating) but I do still plan on making something once a week when things settle down.
It's a strange beast. You work hard just have the simple stability of shelter and food and to provide for the people around you (in my case mostly cats). It's very easy to forget that you aren't just a wheel in a machine but a fully fleshed out person who has emotional needs. It's hard to strike a balence between being someone who needs to work to live and actually being alive. You owe yourself the latter. Take the time to draw, write, dance whatever it is you need to do give yourself a reminder that you're breathing ya know? Take the time to relax and create. Try to ignore those voices in your head from your past telling you that your joy and comfort in life don't matter. You don't have to be "productive" to make gains in life.
I hope you smile so hard your face hurts.
Take care and see ya soon.
