Hello there!

It's me, CottonCandyDarling, but you can call me Darling for short. I'm posting this so anyone -- whether you're a fellow writer, a VA, or a listener -- can get to know me a little bit. There'll also be a few 'how to interact' with me boundaries at the bottom. A must have for anyone making NSFW content, in my opinion.

About Me:

1) I'm a huge fantasy and sci-fi fan. I grew up watching LOTR and Star Trek with both my parents. (Voyager is the best, you cannot argue with me on this.) I have a deep love for anything created solely from human imagination.

2) I love the arts. Writing is, of course, my first love. I've been writing since I was 8 years old. My experience spans across creative, academic, and mechanical writing. As for the other arts, I've been drawing and painting since I was young. I don't focus on it as much as my writing, but I'll sometimes paint a few times a year or sketch when I please. My favorite style is surrealism, with my favorite artist being Zdzisław Beksiński.

3) I enjoy video games. Either watching or playing. I've sometimes thought about writing a script for a specific game, but I don't think that's my niche here. I think it'd be too easy to mischaracterize a beloved favorite, at least on my end.

4) I like erotica. I think that's pretty obvious, considering what this account is based on, but I do think it needs to be emphasized that women do enjoy this type of content. GWA has been a safe space for me when it comes to expressing that side of myself, and I am very pleased with how welcoming the community has been. Most of my work is romance, so please don't expect to see anything with violence or non-con. (Some of my scripts may break this rule, but it will, without exception, always end in enthusiastic consent and aftercare.)

How to Interact with Me:

1) I am not always on Reddit 24/7. I tend to ignore my account for long stretches of time. I will respond to DMs as soon as I get back on and see a notification in my inbox. Please be understanding if I don't respond to you right away. We're all humans with complex lives. I am a student so I will be busier during the fall/spring seasons.

2) I love all types of comments on my work, whether they are academic or explicit. However, please make sure you're directing your comments at my work specifically, and not me as the author. I am not someone to be objectified just because I write about sex.

3) If you are a VA interested in a collaboration, feel free to message me. I like writing private scripts. I don't require payment for them, UNLESS they are being put on something with a paywall like Patreon. We will have to discuss that if you want to.

4) All of my scripts MUST be put on GWA/GWA-adjacent subreddits unless you have my permission.

5) This is my hobby. I love writing for GWA, I love all the talent here, and I enjoy the warmth the community brings. This is not my job, though, so my scripts will be released as I feel they are ready. I have no quota.
