Planned Parenthood in Denver has a new program. They are accepting transgenders into their programs as far as MTF @ FTM . I’m the First one in the new program she said when I booked my appointment. It’s not till the second week of October though. The Way it works you have to call to make an appointment . The receptionist will ask you a dozen or more questions . They will ask you several different personal things also . Then they schedule you for your first appointment . II had asked some more and in-depth questions but she had to transfer me to a nurse that knew more in detail . When I spoke to the nurse I had asked her several things . First of what exactly in detail goes on in the two hours that I have to be there for my visit . She said that they will do multiple bloodwork test to make sure you’re healthy and don’t have any issues. They will check for std’s etc , your hormone levels, and make sure everything else looks good . It’s about a two hour process . She said and then the doctor will address some very important things . To the extent of what hrt will do . The physical emotional mental and sexual changes that will come along with this process. It’s more of a wellness awareness in case you had overlooked or were unaware of something. They will address any concerns that you have also. In a sense it’s a informed consent . They will write you the script that day for your hormones. I am looking very forward to the changes that are coming for myself. Even though it’s several weeks out I’m Excited ! MTF changes are in progress finally !
