Help me begin to invest !

As it says ^ , so I am basically brand new at purchasing/investing, I have my last $500 and this would be Canadian as I live in Canada, ... Can anybody help me with any information advice on whether I should invest in Bitcoin or invest in possibly other areas that I'm not too familiar with? I know the bare minimum but I really need to make this $500 at least double hopefully within a very short period of time, I really hope and appreciate for any advice etc that you're willing to hand down!! 💋🔥☺️
