Cakeday Update: A Look Back, Upcoming Scripts and Maybe Opening Commissions
Post Body

It’s hard to believe that it’s been one year since the creation of this account. So much has happened in what feels like such a short time. People come and gone, friends made and lost, changes of all kinds. What started out as a quarantine hobby I figured would only last a couple weeks has become something so much greater. But enough reminiscing, on to the update!

I recently finished my winter semester, which means I can give my full attention to writing new scripts. Tomorrow (May 1st) is the one year anniversary of the release of my first script, and I plan on releasing something very special to commemorate the day. I have accumulated a ton of plot ideas over the semester that I can’t wait to get started on, but I won’t get into those yet. You’ll just have to wait and see what comes next!

And finally, as it says in the title of this post, yes, I am considering opening up script commissions. I ran a poll on my Twitter a few days ago and more than zero people said they would pay for my work, which means I will be looking into opening up a fairly priced service for my work. If I do open up slots, it’ll probably only be one or two at first so I can ease into the practice of working with clients (given I’ve never done something like this before). More details to come as this idea develops.

Thank you all for being patient with me during my busy life, I sincerely look forward to creating more scripts and sharing them here!

Your dapper writer and friend,

-BTG
