🎉Happy Birthday To Meeeee🎉

I've been really struggling lately, so I won't have anything new to post coming soon, but since today's my big day, here's 27 facts about me!!!!

1. Today, 9/18, is my birthday hehehe, so I'm a Virgo! my moon is in cancer, and my rising is in pisces
2. When I was 19, on my way home from college, my car broke down and later, somehow, blew up on the side of the highway
3. I like painting and different kinds of artsy projects !! my mom used to say we were distantly related to John Singer Sargeant, but she's not a reliable narrator
4. I had to get my ears pierced twice bc i'm apparently allergic to metals that aren't gold (but only in my ears lollll)
5. My favorite type of cookies are actually oatmeal chocolate chip, but i'll fuck up an oatmeal raisin. they're always left over so i get a bunch >:3
6. The last two christmases I made goodies for the clinic i worked in - 2020 was hot chocolate bars, 2021 was PB J thumbprint cookies. there was about 35-40 people, including the docs and residents, in-clinic staff, and admins
7. Some controversial food opinions: mint chocolate is delicious, pineapple on pizza is incredible, and detroit style pizza is my favorite. i also have some regional ones that would only make sense if I gave away what state I live in lmaoo
8. I moved eight times before I graduated high school - no, I am not some kind of military brat lol
9. My favorite place to be is in water. a beach is the best, bc I grew up in FL, but lakes and rivers are cool too ig
10. I had a phase as a kid where ghost stuff absolutely terrified the fuck out of me. even the fake shit. i'm not as affected by it now; i'd say i just have a healthy respect for the dead lol
11. I think southern gothic is the best subgenre of country music. love a spooky banjo
12. My favorite flowers are tulips, sunflowers, and peonies
13. I really, really love weddings and wedding content (books, movies, tv shows)
14. Manatees and bears are my favorite animals!!! I have a few stories about manatees in the wild from my childhood. they're sooo sweet
15. I have 14 tattoos !! with plans for more, but the ones that just kind of happen are always fun too
16. Korean food is one of my favorites but the closest restaurants to me are at least an hour away
17. I drink the same wine every new years eve - arbor mist raspberry moscato. i'll usually supplement with some kind of cocktail. last year was cranberry mimosas!
18. I can easily say I've never had an apple pie that blew my mind :/
19. I'm one of those people that buys notebooks and never uses them
20. I have a scar on my forehead from an incident when I was 2
21. I'm a super finicky sleeper and recently found out I'm a blanket hog aka I'm a terrible person to share a bed with lmao
22. I'm allergic to cats ;-;
23. My favorite poet is Allen Ginsberg and I have a hardcover anthology of his works. I learned about him during a speech class in my junior year of HS!
24. My favorite colors are pink n blue
25. If it's a lemon or orange flavored sweet, i'm already there pls pls gimme. side note? if you like mocha in your coffee, and you know a place with orange syrup, try an orange mocha. delicious

27. i've technically needed glasses since 4th grade, but stopped wearing them sometime in 5th and didn't get new ones til 9th. my current glasses are heartshaped and i'm never going back bc it matches me so well hehehe
