So, I started posting VAs to r/gonewildaudio a couple of days ago. After enjoying the content in the sub for so long, and after not really having many outlets of creative expression for much longer, I thought to put two and two together.

I began scouting for scripts, started writing my own (if you've read it, be warned, it is getting a massive overhaul before I put it up for offer, but the core will remain the same), and very quickly found some that I knew I wanted to fill. The community over on r/GWAScriptGuild is both charmingly helpful and talented.

And after using Audacity for the first time, I put it up. And it got (I believe) 1500 listens on the first day. It's almost at 4k now. And the praise? It has almost been too much to bear, you guys have brought me to tears at times. At posting, with just 3 audios up, my stuff has been listened to like 7k times, and to think that so many people have heard me... compromised, so to speak... Is a very complex feeling, but it is one I keep coming back to. Genuinely guys, thank you so much for the warm welcome.

Now, on to future stuff. As some of you who have seen my Death's Void audio will know, it is attached to a collab script with 3 other male roles, and I'm on the hunt for them. And anyone with collab editing experience to impart upon me wisdom. Another big thing, I have a big bookshelf, and I've been thinking of revisiting the works of Edgar Allen Poe lately. His verse is so soothing, and I was thinking perhaps I could record it and put it somewhere too? If someone could tell me where I would much appreciate, I thought it was pillow talk but not sure.

But other than that? Well, I wanna hear from you guys. If you guys stumble upon something you would like to hear me try, or make something you think I would do well with, or have requests (these ones might take time, I have improv experience but not... this kind haha) please DM me and give me the deets. Or, leave a comment on this post, I'll probably pin it.

I am gonna slow my tempo juuuust a bit for awhile, but I can guarantee a weekly audio post at least(probably more). If anything, it is more for me than you guys in many ways. Not to be self indulgent, genuinely, but making these is so so fun. I recommend it to anyone who feels they could benefit from opening up a little. The space is safe and welcoming, and helpful if you wish it to be.
