Alec Lightwood and Magnus Bane, also known as Malec, are one of the most popular couples in the Shadowhunters universe--a power couple who have been through a lot together, fighting side by side, supporting each other through tough times, and they loving each other unconditionally.

Alec and Magnus are both people who were broken, but that brokenness is what makes their relationship so valuable, giving them empathy and helping them understand each other--their relationship is not perfect, but Alec and Magnus' relationship is considered to be healthy. • They are always there for each other. Magnus and Alec are each other's biggest supporters--there for each other through thick and thin, and they know that they can always count on each other, no matter what.  They are not just there for each other through the tough times - they are also there for each other in the good times. Alec and Magnus celebrate each other's successes and are each other's biggest cheerleaders-- truly embodying a team in every sense of the word.
