Swearing off men

In less than 24 hours I have gone from being hopeful about dating again to absolutely wanting nothing to do with men.
Not only are they exhausting. But they hate to see a woman with the slightest bit of confidence. God forbid you mention the good attributes you possess! God forbid you repeat compliments others have given to you. God forbid you don't wallow in a sea of low self-esteem and self-pity.
I simply give up.
Here's to 7 more years of celibacy!
