As a boudoir photographer for the last many years, the repetitive nature of certain type of shots can be tiresome. It is difficult to believe I know, that what may seem as a dream for many of us can become a tedius task after years of practice ... but I don't think anything in life escapes this truth, in the same way not even light can escape a black hole.
However, there are still many ideas that I love shooting even today, and I still have a long list of shoots in my list of to dos that I am hoping to get to shoot with the right person! In general, elegance and sensuality appeal to me more than the raw and highly sexualised shots you see everywhere. There is of course a place for both, but let me choose, and I will always go for the delicacy and elegance of a classy, sensual, atmospheric shots that, in addition, can tell a story. The teasing nature of an implied picture is certainly more appealing that a blunt open legs shot, in the same way that an art nude pose is preferred to a selfie used in the many Onlyfans accounts around. And while there is a place for all and I still shoot for Onlyfans models looking for a certain type of look, the reality is that i happily shoot for free when the idea resonates with me, when the model and I share the desire to create something epic, something coukd be printed and proudly hung on the wall despite its sensual nature.
Enough of my ramblings now! I will be leaving for Europe before the summer but I still have some time before I leave to shoot the right ideas with the right people in New York. So, professional or amateur, experienced or first timer, young in age or just at heart .. if the idea of creating something beautiful and sensual resonates with you, reach out before I leave for other pastures.
