So first off let me say I know this is reddit and what I'm about to rant is a daaaaa moment. So I'll start off with this. A good section of profiles and people I know are fake. The tag lines are all the same. The click bait sounds way too good. So I get it, the NSFW crowd is mostly guys and a ton of managed profiles. Managed by companies that post and answer DMs and try to get men (mostly) to go the pay sites and buy. I know this because I work with more then a few content providers and I have names of such companies. Look I'm ok with people earning cash. It's a business, there is a market for it. The issue for me is I'm a artist at heart. I enjoy working with people to bring out ideas and personalities in side them. And I have worked with some awesome people. I've worked with OF models and web models, but my all time favorite is amateur people. Your every day person you might see at a store, PTA meeting, at your work, and yes at your church. So I search out people that might want to create great photos for themselves. Solo or couples it don't matter, as long is you are real. So I guess the point of this is as I reach out to people, I know 99% think it's a scam. That is odd because I don't ask for anything. But what gets me the most is when I reach out and someone responds, I explain what I'm looking for and what I can do for them. Then in the end they are goating me to their OF page. No, I don't subscribe to people. I don't chat, or do videos. I don't buy underwear or what-not. I understand there is a business for that. I just don't have time to do it with all I have to do. I have met some real people on here. Great people full of fun. I've made some great photos with them. I'm always happy when I can give them something they wanted. I guess I'll end this rant with this. While I might get discouraged sometimes, want to give up, I just look back on the people I've worked with and remember how much fun it was to do. In short I'm not laying down my cameras just yet.
