So all of last week, Hubby was in Vegas for work and at a large expo. I was home by lonesome but work kept me busy. Wednesday comes around and he tells me to edge until he gets home. This is something we do when one of us is away for a few days. My plan was to pick him up Friday night at the airport, get home, and then we can get down to business like we always do after trips.

Friday morning rolls around and I typically work from home on Friday's. Its about six in the morning when I open my laptop and check my emails for work. First email I see is from my boss. Message reads out that I can take the day off and Monday as well. This is something that he hardly ever does, especially with me. I'm like, okay cool, im going back to bed. Which I promptly did, because why not right.

About an hour goes by and my phone is ringing, it's my best friend Becca. She tells me to wake up because she's going to be over shortly. This isn't like her soni wake up thinking something is wrong. She knows the garage code and shows herself in as usual. She proceeded to start barking orders to get ready and hands me some papers folded up. They are plane ticket confirmations for me to fly to Vegas. I'm still a bit tired so my brain isn't exactly at full power just yet.

So what had happened without me knowing is that hubby planned this week's in advance. He had talked with my boss privately and got my time off approved. Had orchestrated with my best friend to get me ready for a flight and asked her to house sit, and watch the dogs. So here I am, running around at seven thirty in the morning trying to pack and get ready for a trip to Vegas. She's helping me pack but I noticed she grabbed one of his RTIC duffle bags, folds it up, and puts in my luggage. She helps me pick out a couple of dresses and hells for dinner, and picks out my lingerie for the weekend while I'm getting dressed and doing my hair.

Get to the airport, get on a plane, and about six hours later I'm getting off a plane. Now, there is someone from the hotel there waiting to pick me up. This pisses me off. Not that I had a ride to the hotel, but he had the audacity not to be there.

I get to the hotel, they give me a set of key cards, and show me to the room.

I get in the room and he's not there, but there's a note on the bed with sweet apology and telling me to look in closet. Walk in and there is this beautiful blue dress, a new pair of black pumps, some black lingerie, and a second note saying get ready. I start crawling into the shower and hear him walk in.

Okay, now I'm super excited because I look out and see him getting undressed so.im thinking we are about to have some fun in the shower.
