I apparently have a bad habbit of mashing the right side of my palm on the right control button, using the 5th metacarpal bone to hit the right control button on normal keyboards using standard 80% or larger keyboard layouts.
I have recently purchased, a fairly to very expensive 75% layout device, where the right control key is both smaller and inset a little bit from the most common location, and it has exposed this muscle memory terribly.
What's the normal way to hit the control key on a 75% keyboard? Should I just map something like left-alt left arrow key to right control in order to allow me to continue touch typing the key with my 5th metacarpal bone, or is there some other general advice I should be using to learn on a 75% or smaller keyboard?
