Lubricating with graphite powder?
Post Body
Graphite powder is a dry lubricant that is very effective at lubricating metal surfaces. It's often used by locksmiths to service locks because it doesn't leave a residue. What is your experience with lubricating a typewriter with graphite powder? The main drawback I can think of is that the powder migrates to the platen and smudges the paper. Is it worth trying?
