I stumbled upon a typewriter over the summer on Craigslist and thought what the heck, why not! So I got my first typewriter. And then I joined this sub and saw photos here of your collections and wondered why everyone seemed to have so many of them!

Well.. I just got my 3rd typewriter today from a local estate sale online. $20 for a Royal (and 2 vintage cameras come with it). They say it’s 1940’s and is “in working order” and it doesn’t look bad. But we will see when I pick it up in 2 days.

I didn’t think I’d have 3 by now! But thank you all for the community here (and answering my clueless questions), if I hadn’t joined this sub I would have never known it was acceptable to have multiple! 😜
