When I see people upload covers, nails, and fangirl over every little detail it’s so funny bc Peter would have thought it’s stupid and a waste of peoples time. The self deprecation was absolutely genuine- not an act. And if he saw all this stuff being displayed as some homage to him he wouldn’t fancy it.

I just find it so funny ppl who claim to be such huge fans didn’t understand anything about them. Someone asking about pics of Josh’s family like wtf? If you’re a fan who listened to or cared about what they said you wouldn’t do this stuff.

It’s bc of this parasocial stuff that Josh completely disappeared. This just wasn’t one of those bands that wanted the obsessive stuff- us old people who knew of them day one and actually listened to what Peter said get it. I’m not being a jerk it’s just the irony with all these displays of obsession over Peter is weird.
