McCoy Transfer Issues

So I am transferring from another 4-year University whose College of Business has the same accreditation as McCoy. I however didn't get admitted straight into McCoy because I am missing an ENG 1320 equivalent (my school let us out of it with ACT scores) and am having to petition my business calc class for credit (they don't have it on record and are evaluating my syllabus for said calc class to see if it works, don't see why it wouldn't) so I have a few questions-

Does anyone have experience with the CLEP college composition exam? I assume its not bad but I also haven't taken an English comp class in years so.
Can you enroll in many/any McCoy classes without the actual McCoy admittance? I know I can put in an override request for the requirement but am curious if there are business classes they will let you take with the issues I have.
