I’m a current freshmen at texas state and worried about housing next year. I’m absolutely not living in the dorms and am more than capable of working a job, but how does anyone do 15 credit hours a semester and sustain a job that pays high enough for $950 rent food and other bills? Student housing just seems to be SO overpriced. I’m looking at 3 bedroom apartments vs3 bedroom houses and the houses are about $1000 cheaper overall bc they’re not targeted at students as much! but seriously how do yall afford to pay that much in rent? If my options slim down i may land in a place that expensive in the end and just need to hear someone’s personal experience!
