Maybe I played China wrong, but after easily winning the Vietnam war as Chiang Kai Shek, the "story" seemed to pit me against America / Imperialism with the idea of being the liberator of Asia. So I do just that, take back port cities, fight a few wars in Indochina, Tibet, and Mongolia all using my starter army.
The year is like 1958 or something now, I've finished most of my focus tree, and nowhere am I doing the liberation from imperialism the whole Nanjing Pact was established for (other than 2 port cities the AI just handed me).
I still even have commies near me, such as Japan and Indonesia, and well knowing how the start of the game was very much, "Take the commies out of Asia", I am really curious why I can only take some of the commies out of Asia.
Its kinda lame there is all this cool tech in the game but it's over before I can even use it. There was never a "struggle" that most nations go through with China, it was just "beat up the small guys with your large army" and then game over.
