"This team could not last forever."

"But you stood strong, and you opposed all those you had defeated who had spoken behind your back, saying it was just a fluke, that your victories were tarnished. You destroyed them."

"Yes."

"And yet you confine yourself to the PC now? When there is still yet work to be done? You let your Leech King go? A king perhaps greater than my Fonz?"

"Do you not recall, my dear brother, what happened after your great victory? Do you not remember the pain felt in Johto? The shadow cast upon the land by your image, held so high by the weak-minded?"

"Yes, I remember. Perhaps you have forgotten that I had to die to undo that wrong."

"No, I remember your sacrifice. But consider, the King sold his soul for this power....he gave himself to a force that binded itself to him and consumed his will. It was for the greater good, but it was slavery in the end. And consider this fact: if this world, this reality, is to be mine, I shall not want to fall to the same fate that you have."

"And so you will wait?"

"Yes my brother. The Pantheon is strong, our eyes gaze out upon all realities. I shall forever protect this one. But the final task, the final battle for peace in this land, shall not be fought by my hand. There are others I have been watching, others I have chosen for this great task.
