Dropping a line here!
Post Body

Hello hello ello all, /u/Carliewarliee here! Wanted to drop by, say hello to you all and introduce you to the twitch channel my husband and I have begun to cultivate recently.

Channel:
http://twitch.tv/guzziestyle
Schedule:
Mon - Friday | 6pm - 11pm JST
Sat-Sun | 10am to 11:00 pm JST
Games:
We play a variety of them, such as Apex Legends, It Takes Two, Lost Ark, Destiny 2, Halo, Pokemon, Genshin (not yet on stream), (maybe?) Elden Ring and more to come in the future. We're also open to suggestions on games of any genre to play!
Goal:
We are looking to making lifelong friends across the world, and enjoy playing games with each other. Gaming is also an awesome destressor. We're also hoping to help/give advice to people who are either looking to move to or travel to Japan and are curious about anything in particular.
We also like to give our honest take on titles that we play, whether or not its worth the $ to get the game or not.
Most importantly, we are here to make memories and have fun while building our "Guzzie Gang" (it's a wip name for the community).

Background:
My husband and I are English teachers living in Japan (Kansai area to be more specific), and have been doing so for the last 4 years. We'll be heading back to either the UK or US once our work program ends on August, with one of us heading to the same location once the visa fully processes.

Prior to this, my husband used to play Halo competitively and professionally. He also streamed before for a short period of time too if I'm recalling correctly.

We only made the decision to start streaming as a whole when we were able to build a proper PC (thanks to a part time job, was able to set money aside for the parts). The idea to build a proper PC happened because our one laptop was getting slow, and, it was proving difficult to complete materials our base schools were setting for us at the same time on the one laptop.

There was also the matter that after Japan, my husband needs a computer that can handle architecture software as well as graphics/video editing software for when he returns back into Architecture post work programme.
