Do you have a favourite Julee Cruise song? Mine is I Float Alone. It wasn’t on the Twin Peaks soundtrack, but thanks to a post on this subreddit today, I now know that it’s on Industrial Symphony No. 1!

I must admit that I had never listened to her “newer” (i.e. post-Twin Peaks) material. Tonight I checked out a few songs from her last two albums. Quite different from her dream pop stuff with Lynch and Badalamenti, but also quite good in their own way. I will keep listening.

Rest in peace Julee Cruise!
