Should I just make a Twine if I'm struggling with a Visual Novel?

Post Body

I know nobody can really answer this other than myself, but I'd like opinions on the matter.

I like VNs because they are art forms with story written on them. I really like comics for the same reason. But I struggle heavily when I go to draw a comic. Writing comes easy.

Except for VNs... writing a VN seems impossible to me. It's cause the more I add, the more art I know I'll need. And my art is okay, but it could be better. And I get burnt out easily with art.

Anyway, I'm seriously considering using Twine instead. I just am hesitant in case it isn't as meaningful as it could be as a VN. Don't get me wrong, I've read plenty of Twinr games; they're genuinely AWESOME! I'm worried mine won't be.

I suppose also play to your strengths. I like writing and I like making stories, so Twine seems to be the best option right?

I'm not sure...

Any thoughts on the matter?

EDIT:

I decided to try Twine and made this!
Thank you all for the advice, I love Twine!
