Come join me this Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. at the Black Hart in St. Paul for the monthly Twin Cities Nerd Nite meetup!
Nerd Nite is a national organization where people give presentations about topics they nerd out about. The Twin Cities chapter meets on the second Wednesday of every month, at 7 p.m. at Black Hart.
The August edition is extra special! We'll be meeting out on the Black Hart patio (weather permitting). And instead of our normal lineup of three 20-minute talks, we're doing Lightning Talks: 10 different 5-minute talks, on topics ranging from Oscar Wilde to yarn sports, Citizen Science to hyperlocal government.
There's no cover charge to get in. Just show up curious, enjoy the talks, and see if you come up with any ideas for your own nerdy presentation!
