Wouldn't the Volturi find out after breaking dawn that Charlie knows something is up with the Cullens?

Okay so hear me out. When Edward lets Aro read all of his thoughts and memories, wouldn't Aro also have seen them hanging out with Charlie, Charlie realising his daughter is different and finding out something supernatural is involved with the Cullens. Sure, Charlie didn't know the exact deal, but aren't the Volturi really strict about wiping anyone out who has the slightest bit of suspicion? I am sure they wouldn't let this slide that easily.
