I don't know if it's just me or whenever I'm listening to the song when I'm tired, I would often break down and almost cry, and I'm starting to have a love-hate relationship with the song yet I still always listen to it.

I Got You is actually a song about Twice's friendship and bond together but hearing the lyrics while in my commute home after a very long, tiring, and stressful day makes me cry and make me feel the genuine reassurance that everything's gonna be alright as long as Twice is there, like a warm, comfortable hug that welcomes you when you arrive home. Combine that with the semi-delusional thoughts that Twice really got you is a feeling that makes me attached to them so much more than ever before; considering the fact as well that I've been a Once since 2016 and they're my endgame k-pop group plus the only active k-pop group that I wholeheartedly stan right now (despite being a k-pop fan since 2011).

I just want to put this out there as to how beautiful this song is. So beautiful that it makes me so vulnerable that there's always hope at the end of it all, and I would like to virtually hug every single Once (all the way from Manila, Philippines) that also has the same sentiments as me toward I Got You <3 we're all gonna be okay, okay?
