OP: Ok, so on redecorate I swore I heard “Scaled back, like an isolated, drag-on” for the first few listens, which made since given the trash the dragon lore and the scaled back line and Tyler saying scaled and icy also refers to scaled back and isolated.

I have only seen one other comment mentioning this misheard lyric. I think it’s intentional and I have a STRETCH that it even might be inspired by that Isolated Dragon person. If you search the subreddit or YouTube for IsolatedDragon you get a bunch of twenty one pilot instrumentals they’ve made which I loved. I just think it’s a weird coincidence, but I think it’s very possible Tyler saw this user or may have gotten some ideas from them.

The official line seems to be scaled back like an isolated track, which makes a lot of sense, but so does isolated dragon if you take into account the album lore and surrounding lines and history of the clique, Isolated dragon was literally stripping out the vocals of songs for the clique. It’s 99% likely just a coincidence, but thought I would share since I keep seeing people post about the isolated track line

More over, trash the dragon is isolated from the boys the whole album, literally trapped in figurine form, I don’t think it’s a stretch to say the line could at least be heard as “isolated dragon” or have double meaning

But today I was watching the livestream event again again, and during the part of Lane Boy when Tyler is doing the Redecorate rap, he pulls one side of his shirt up during the words "Isolated track, And (Dragon)" which kinda makes his shirt look like a wing like a dragon which to me confirms the double meaning, Here is a clip of it: https://streamable.com/4yikve

some may say this is a reach but it looks obvious to me now, and he doesnt do anything with his shirt like that before that moment or after :) I had to share, thought it was a weird coincidence if not intentional!
