I have a concern but perhaps there is a setting that resolves this. It seems both desktop app and my android apps are saving the email login ( not password ). How do I disable this so NOTHING related to any account is retained when apps close?

How I know this is happening is that when I start either app and BEFORE I ever log in to any account I get notifications of new emails for both business and personal accounts.

This should not be possible unless the apps are saving my emails in order to check for new messages.

It is not really an issue for me personally but I can see how this could compromise a journalist or an activist in a hostile nation who has his/her phone confiscated as having that save would pretty much prove that owner had a specific email address associated with that phone or PC.

That information should NEVER be saved on any device unless the owner specifically request it be save just as the password can be saved only by specific request.
