I found this log at a job site I work at. I obviously plan on cleaning it and treating it before adding it to the tank, but I was looking online and saw that there are some types of wood that are not safe for turtles. How do I tell if this is safe for a turtle? It seems extreamly old (I'd say at least a few years) and the site I work at is next to a cow farm near Williston ND, if any of that info matters. Any help would be greately appreciated, as I am going to set up the tank very soon. The log is approximately 19in long and has a circumfrence of about 14in.
