So, some honest questions here, since I like the idea of this app, looked around a bit:
I went and compared local prices on Turo vs other traditional rental companies and the rates seem around 50% more.
Looking at the many posts like https://www.reddit.com/r/turo/comments/16ec8s5/guest_late_in_returning_vehicle/ where a simple late return could result in being charged for the entire next customer's trip, potentially a 250$ fee if the owner goes and retrieves the car themselves, etc this sounds way harsher than most rental companies.
Granted there are some really high end cars on there.
Are the nicer cars available the only perk on Turo?
Why would I bother renting from Turo?
