Tracking force question
Post Body

I have a Pickering V15 series II cartridge on my realistic lab 440 turntable and I just bought a replacement stylus 4604-det. The stylus has a recommended tracking force of 2-5 grams. The counter weight and anti skate on my turntable go up to 3. How can I determine the correct tracking force for my setup? Ive been running it at around 2 because Iā€™m mildly concerned with premature wear on records and stylus and also because I believe the low mass tone arm performs better with low tracking force but I want to make sure Iā€™m getting proper sound reproduction out of my setup. Looking for advice or pointers.
