I currently have my pc audio running through 2 Mackie HR824 studio monitors. Ijust picked up an AT LP3XBT and want to run it through the 824s as well. My goal is to have all my sources in my office run through the 824s because I don't have a lot of room in there.
I ran my pc and turntable through my 4ch mixer into my speakers. The pc audio is still great, but the volume coming from the turntable is very quiet.
I do have an only sony amp laying around, but I know runing an amp into powered speakers risks blowing the speakers.
My questions are:
Would a 4ch mixer with a preamp boost the volume enough to not need the amp?
Is there an amp that has RCA output that I could use?
Is there any other way you can think of to make thiswork safely.
